Synopse zur Antwort der Bundesregierung zu Islamic Relief (Drs. 21/7057) und bekannten Sachverhalten
Seit Januar 2017 fragt der Deutsche Bundestag nach den Verbindungen von Islamic Relief Deutschland zur Muslimbruderschaft und nach dem Verbleib der Fördermillionen des Auswärtigen Amts. Abgeordnete von Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, FDP und AfD haben in drei Wahlperioden nachgefragt. Die jüngste Antwort vom 9. Juli 2026 lässt alle neun Fragen unvollständig. Hamburg: From the “Mullah Centre” to a “Memorial to the Victims of Islamism”
In Hamburg, a broad, pluralistic alliance is calling for the confiscated “Mullah Centre” to be converted into a “Memorial to the Victims of Islamism.” The concept envisages five functions for the site’s reuse: alongside the memorial, a constitution-compliant prayer space, a Documentation Centre Political Islam, a youth education campus, and a Jina cultural centre. The proposal aims to anchor remembrance, documentation, and public education — “from Hamburg, for Germany and the world.”
